New Brunswick to support 3 youth mental health (ACCESS Open Minds) centres

New Brunswick's Department of Health has announced they plan to fund three youth mental health centres in New Brunswick, which are part of the ACCESS Open Minds network. They include, Elsipogtog First Nation, Caraquet and Saint John. However, details have yet to be disclosed.


These centres all received high praise from a recent interim report from The Office of Child and Youth Advocate. Read more about this here.






McGill University and the Douglas Research Centre are on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the traditional territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka, one of the founding nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy.
