Amal Abdel-Baki, Manuela Ferrari, Marc-André Roy, Prof Iyer and the SARPEP/PAIRPEP team hosted a 2-day event in Montreal on October 3rd and 4th, bringing together all 20 early intervention for psychosis teams from Quebec who are participating in the SARPEP learning health system.

The conference was an opportunity to discuss successes and challenges of the learning health system, and come up with improvements to the learning health systems together through a series of multi-stakeholder workshops.

Over 155 people attended the conference, including 11 youth and family members, 15 peer support workers and family peer support workers, and over 100 other participants such as clinicians, researchers, psychiatrists, decision makers, community organisation representatives and other partners.

McGill University and the Douglas Research Centre are on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the traditional territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka, one of the founding nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We respect the continued connections with the past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous and other peoples within Tiohtià:ke/Montréal and across the country.
