Srividya Iyer, Chris Mushquash and Aislin Mushquash (key team members of the ACCESS Open Minds Indigenous Youth Mental Health and Wellness Network) hosted Sam Weiss, Scientific Director of CIHR's Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction; Jo Henderson, Executive Director of Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) and Scientist, The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH); and Ian Boeckh, President of the Graham Boeckh Foundation at the Dilico Anishinabek Family Care centre in Thunderbay, Ontario. Rich discussions were had about the vision, progress and future of the ACCESS Open Minds Indigenous Youth Mental Health and Wellness Network and the larger goal of advancing youth mental health and wellness services and research focused on Indigenous youth.

McGill University and the Douglas Research Centre are on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the traditional territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka, one of the founding nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We respect the continued connections with the past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous and other peoples within Tiohtià:ke/Montréal and across the country.
